  I purchased a mattress from the Mattress Firm in Shenandoah, TX back in May of 2014. At the time, I was told that I could purchase the mattress with no interest. We worked out a deal for ~$1600.00 for a mattress, box spring and frame (which they sent the wrong size) and I left. The contract was for a company called Progressive who has since billed my account over $3800.00 for this mattress in a lease-purchase program. Yes, I should have monitored my accounts better to ensure I caught this earlier, but when I read the receipt for ~$1600.00 and then had the agent tell me it would be interest free payments. I took him at his word. It is base line, used car salesman, bait and switch tactics. I am absolutely disgusting I have been robbed of $2200.00 over the agreed purchase price! The tactics used by the sales agent are horrific and I will recommend to everyone I know that they never enter a mattress firm.
